Also available from Halvy Custom Creations, you will find beautifully handcrafted decorative boxes, funeral urns, wood bases for Europeon deer mounts, and bases for turkey feathers/beards.  Each one is custom designed by Chuck Halvorson . All pieces are handcrafted from multiple fine woods and inlay materials. The beautifully handcrafted boxes can be designed with an access hole in the back to accommodate rechargeable items such as, cell phones, cameras, or i'pods.  It's a great way to hide your electronics  inside a beautiful piece of art and protect them at the same time.  The box shown at  the right is  one of Chucks favorites, and is made of Black Walnut sides with an Oak top and bottom, and a strip of Ash in the top.  It also has a Brazilian agate inlay on the front.  The interior is lined with foam padding , covered in beige velour, and finished off with a gold chain and hinges. The box to the left is made of Black Walnut with a strip of Purple-heart wood in the top and a purple Brazilian agate inlay on the front.  The interior is lined with foam padding  covered with purple velour fabric, and is  finished off with a gold chain and hinges                                                                                                                                                               Beautiful  handcrafted Urns can be custom designed also. The urn shown on the right is made from Mahogany.  It was custom designed for a family whose loved one was a musician. The following pictures are of a  custom  ordered jewelry box.  The design was brought to Chuck  by a customer  wanting something special for his wife.  After looking at the design, Chuck chose a few special pieces of Walnut with beautiful grain.  He then split the wood  to make the doors match and added some oak inlay.  The box is all done with dovetail  corners and leather filets.  Each drawer is numbered for correct placement.  The interior is finished  with brown velvet fabric   The exterior has been hand rubbed with a wax finish.  The details are all done in gold trim (knobs,hinges, chain, necklace hooks.)
